Generally I am pretty good at research and understanding things. But I find the chicken genetics so confusing no matter how many times I read them. I looked through the threads and haven't been able to find my situation. It's always a cemani roo. But I have a cemani hen. I have one swedish flower roo and one Blue Americana roo (father could be either). Would this produce sex-linked chicks? I purposely hatched two out of my incubator. One came out marbled and is clearly a roo. The other came out all black and appears to be a hen. Now she has snuck off and hatched some of her own and it looks to be they are the same. Some marbled and some solid black.

So let me ask you one more thing. Because one rooster is a swedish flower, one is an Ameracauna and mom is a cemani can they be wing-sexed? I know it needs to be a fast feathering father with a slow feathering mother. But I can't find what these breeds are. And they never show up in the examples of fast or slow feathering.

There is only one breed that I know of with slow feathering and that is the exhibition Plymouth Rock. Aside from that, it’s out there but it’s much rarer than you think.
