Sexual Challenge!! (UPDATE with more questions, pg 2)

well my friend has had two GLW roosters and has had to sell both of them....because every time he walked into the coop they would spur his leg

i have a glw 5 week old and I have realized over the past few days but he is very agressive also have 2 5 week old slw that have turned int roos and not as agressive but DOES NOT like attention. I know they will be the first ones we cull. Mine are jumpy and just like be left alone they don't even like when I reach my hand in and clean up.

OK, just to make everybody crazy, I have to ask:

What is the most important feature you look at when sexing chicks? Obviously the pink comb and descending wattles make the GLW look like a cockerel. But that chick does have a very long tail and it lacks pointed hackle feathers. Don't these two things say pullet??

The second EE chick, OTOH, appears to have pointed hackle feathers and a shorter tail (in person, they look more pointed than the picture shows). And EEs have very little comb/wattle, even as adults, right?

I'm just curious. I'm still looking at these chicks every day, and wondering if I could have 2 roosters (or no roosters)!!

Don't take my questioning personally, please. I do the same thing to myself--constantly.
