I had a little roo that came with this group as well as another female. The roo looked different. When they were 2 weeks, he was taller than the pullets and had dark black and brown wings. I have since given him and one of the pullets to a friend. So I'm hoping you are wrong too. Lol. As I do not want a Roo.I could potentially be wrong, and I hope I am.It's just, normally, Salmon Faverolles cockerels are the ones who feather in black on the breast. Pullets generally (and technically should) exhibit white/salmon. However, some hatchery-quality females turn out so dark it's difficult to distinguish the two genders.
