(Yeah, we know what you mean. :p But I'm still going to call her Jadestone if that's okay.)
 
Cloudfall took a deep breath. This was her first time leading a patrol, and she felt slightly uncomfortable giving orders to older warriors. But she better get used to it, she thought. She was deputy now. "We'll try hunting by the stream," Cloudfall meowed to the patrol. "There are some plants there... and plants mean prey to eat the plants. No one's hunted there for a few days, too."
(I just realized that the code better be different. XD If it wasn't then Sparrowstar would be breaking it by appointing Cloudfall as deputy when she hasn't even trained an apprentice)

Cloudfall noticed something in Jadestone's eyes. She dropped back to join her. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly.

Cloudfall could tell by the sadness and distraction in her eyes that she wasn't thinking, and hadn't heard her properly. "No," she meowed patiently. "The water means there will be plants, and the prey will eat the plants. They'll be so busy they won't notice us stalking them."
