Meadowsong opened her eyes quickly. She had no idea how long she had stayed there, pressed against Blackpine, in their own little world. Had she fallen asleep? She didn't care. All that mattered was that she was there with Blackpine.
"Blackpine?" She murmured. "How long have we been here?"

Cloudfall could tell that poor Jadestone probably wouldn't be able to take care of her sister. So she took the lead, flanking Amberstone on her left side as the patrol escorted her to the border.
