If I recall, Henry's age isn't really known and he could be quite old, so I'm pleased there's a cockerel. I hope in time Henry will pass his wisdom on to the boy.

If the next clutch are introduced eggs, there'll be even more genetic diversity in the flock.

The problem with eating insects is the chitin, which studies have shown to be a trigger for allergic reactions, especially with people who are already allergic to shellfish.

Indeed. I used to raise a type of bug called a Dubia roach for my bearded dragon. After a few years I developed an allergy and now I'm super allergic to any form of roach.
