My second flock. My first was several Black Rosecombs, but that was from 30+ years ago.

My son in the photo above is now 40.

It looks like a headless chicken to his left. I see a tail, a foot, and a torso that ends abruptly before the neck.

prepping the bed is coming along nicely and Mow's crop in the last photo suggests she found lots of goodies while helping you there . What are you planning to grow this year? Officially it's spring tomorrow!

Onions, garlic, potatoes, chard are on the list so far. I need to look through the seeds I've collected. I hope to get the herb patch which is on the other side of the fruit bushes sorted out this year.
