Don’t know why this was, but when I was in my 20’s and 30’s and ate drive-through crap, I actually liked Taco Bell. They used to sell something called a Taco Bell Grande, a larger taco with sour cream, that made me pretty happy. I never had any Unfortunate Consequences, although I have a pretty cast-iron GI system.

I never became a regular, because they carried Pepsi products instead of Coke but mainly because they never, ever got an order correct. Like, not once. TB was a destination for late-night stoners, and all I could figure out was that they hired from their most loyal customers.

I learned that Taco Bell just opened their first restaurant in Athens (and in the country in general). Next time I’m in the city, I’m very tempted to try it. It’s not the first time I’ve heard about the explosive side effects of Taco Bell, and can’t help but be intrigued

Fast food chain Taco Bell has been declared bankrupt by the Rotterdam court in the Netherlands. The originally American company serves Mexican food and had ten locations in the Netherlands.
It seems another company is taking over and restarts 9/10 ‘restaurants’.

That’s pretty impressive that a chain of Taco Bells could truly go bankrupt!!

I think the main reason was Taco Bell hired locations that where too expensive. The 10th location which isn’t restarting never made a profit for that reason.

Yeah, if you’re in a city with good food (of any ethnicity), why pay for Taco Bell?

Two hours today. I had planned to be there for four but I got bogged down in some drama where I live. It's particularly annoying given it was a pleasant dry afternoon.

Back to the apple tree at the far end of the extended run.

Out on the field.

I turned this plank over for them today. Lots of slaters and assorted bugs.

Standard evening behaviour now: do the edges behind the coop run before going to roost.
