We are quite fond of naked neck chickens.

There is a hidden zipper in the modern boots. You only need to lace the first time for a perfect fit.

And these awful zippers are the reason I no longer buy them.

My Princesses don’t get scratch grain or meal worms as treats, but I use both for bribing them to go where I need them to go.
I used this yesterday to get them to go into the run before dark so I could lock up because I was freezing cold and needed to go in.

There are zero scratch grains or meal worms for my chickens anymore since TWO have died of fatty liver hemorrhage. The only exception is a tiny bit of millet to call them in, if needed. I’ve even eliminated carrot.
