I feed a crumble layer

I don't like crumble, seems more crumbs in the bag than feed they can pick up. I feed pellets.

Lots of money to be made in the infant formula industry…

Mine prefer crumble to pellets but where raised on mash so maybe why.

Mine comes as a crumble but it’s local and fresh and organic so I will get it regardless of how it comes.

Excell has been making the pellet and crumble here since I was kid of 8 ..
So here tax paid this is my little coop all grown up 6 birds fit great.

108 in Austin at my daughter's house. Kicked our butts so we weren't able to do all the outside work I had planned. Fortunately she is handy so we managed to change out some lights and fans. I will get some pics tomorrow for DIY home repair tax.

I saw Pinecone & Sky Dancer both crowing this morning (before sunrise). They aren't quite at the same level as their dad, but they are still just young roosters.

First Crow is always a good laugh.. This was a photo not long after Smudge lost his tail feathers to a dog attack.
They have all grown back now.
