Another afternoon at the allotments. Cold again but the chickens were busting to get out and have a run about. They're getting fussy about what extras I turn up with now. Scrambled egg is still favourite for most. A couple prefer the haddock.

Henry hoping he can find something to impress the hens with. He dug up a whole worm yesterday; you would have thought he had found a goldmine for the posturing and calls.

Don’t worry I recognize the problem. I still haven’t finished my drainage project and today I am too lazy and am just sitting with the chickens in the sun.
My lot really love the sun!

What I see appears to be gout, not bumble foot.

I thought it was odd too!

At risk of starting a flamewar, I thought their recommendation of DE was a bit odd too.

Hadn’t thought about it since the boy’s face isn’t in focus. He’s such a boob. Loveable, but still a boob.
