What a perfect gentleman, providing a snack for his ladiesAnother afternoon at the allotments. Cold again but the chickens were busting to get out and have a run about. They're getting fussy about what extras I turn up with now. Scrambled egg is still favourite for most. A couple prefer the haddock.
The ever hopefull Slip.

Henry hoping he can find something to impress the hens with. He dug up a whole worm yesterday; you would have thought he had found a goldmine for the posturing and calls.
Notice the legbars in their usual huddle.

Lovely photo with the sunlight through her comb and wattles.Don’t worry I recognize the problem. I still haven’t finished my drainage project and today I am too lazy and am just sitting with the chickens in the sun.
My lot really love the sun!

Diana with lots of new feathers coming through around her head. Her back is still a bit of a mess however.
