Lettuce is always a welcome treat in the winter, and the girls thought it was a bit unfair that the dogs and I headed inside while they had to stay out.

They know it's warmer in there.

Half a junior asprin twice a day is what I use if I can't get Metacam

Thanks, that's good to know. I'm cautious about medication for chickens. Dogs are easier to figure out dosing.

I had an afternoon off today. C is at the allotments so hopefully they'll get fed and let out for a bit. Waiting now to see how Henry gets on with the Ivermectin.
Got some Betadin on order and I'll give his legs a coating which will help with the irritation while the Ivermectin gets on with killing the mites.

Metacam is far better if you can get it. I tried to keep it on hand in Catalonia.

I mix Betadine and Vaseline 25% to 75%. The Betadine is anti fungal as well as antiseptic.

I checked and it's available over the counter so I will definitely pick some up.
