I'm a few pages behind but I'll give a quick update. Heavy molting going on and night time temps are providing a little relief for everyone. 2 of our hopeful pullets began crowing so now we have 11 roosters and 28 hens.

I owe tax and I just put wood chips down so the pictures would look better!

Dottie is giving Porky a peck on the head.

Good morning X Batts. Dry day here last 3 months no rain. Yes it is older.

C has gone tilt again. No water in the coop enclosure. Bottom and top gate closers left undone. Huge stupid bucket of filthy water left in the allotment run which the wild birds drink out of.
It's got colder.
Everybody was pleased to get out for a run around and forage. Seems to be a lot of squabbling between some of the hens. I guess they didn't get out yesterday.
