Got the rest of the coop to mesh bolts on. I can't fix the 12 guage fencing to the coop until the coop is moved.

@Ribh , lot of catching up to do?
Enjoying it? 👍❤️🤣

@Shadrach , do readers who like us a lot, have to pay tax too?
The former precedent states that tax avoidance is discouraged, while tax evasion is illegal. Regardless, it seems that taxes are due upon exchange. My guess is that in this and all related cases, chickens and pictures thereof are considered to be a fair rate of exchange. 🐔🐔

[I only know this because I was coerced into paying a preemptive tax a while back 😆]

Are wildfires nearby or is the smoke drifting from afar? I read that the area around Seattle has had barely a drop of rain since June.
We have also been dry since then. The closest fire, causing most the smoke here, is about an hour from me. The ceder creek fire has been burning since aug, huge fire (125,000+ acres in rough terrain. Sadly i know at least one of my favorite camping spots was an early loss.

As long as the crest doesn't grow much more, it shouldn't need trimming as it's not impeding her vision.
Fforest is colouring up nicely with rich mahogany shoulders; he has more of a mohican

And Dyffryn doesn't have a crest at all; I think her plumage is exquisite
