These 3 chicks are the offspring of Pinecone & Laserbeak. Cannot wait to see if they frizzle out.

It's been a bit breezy. So breezy in fact the the chickens were reluctant to venture far from the shelter of the coop. Mow got blown off her feet at one point; no damage done and Fret does what she does best and fretted every time a gust blew.
A reasonably quiet roosting this evening. You can see in the second picture Dig still pacing around the coop waiting for an opportunity to jump on either Fret or Mow. They out-waited him and slipped in as soon as he got on the perch.

We had similar. The boys' tails made them move like sailing dinghies across the lawn

We had extreme warm weather today with Sahara sand in the air. Around 25C.
:eek: That would be at the high end of summer temperatures here. It's early April for pete's sake.
