Thanks for all the birthday wishes everyone I must admit having a day off out of choice rather than because I couldn't get to the field was rather pleasant. J had a go at hand feeding apparently and that went well. I'm hoping the more contact they have with the chickens the more they'll want.

Two and a half hours today. Lots of sunshine but come dusk the temperature plummeted to around 3C.
Everybody got onto the field.

I tasted this whiskey at a whiskey tasting evening. I loved it but it's way out of the price range I would consider. The eldest and youngest clubbed together and got me a bottle for my birthday.
