I wonder if one did attach a helium filled balloon to Fret whether should would jump and float from one place to another.

It won't be long before one can afford a tracking device. There are some very small ones on the market, mostly for short term wild bird tracking but they're expensive.

Some people buy tracking devices for their cat or dog. They cost from € 35 - almost € 1000. Problem is the trackers are quite big except for the apple tracker. Most come with a necklace.

The Apple trackers rely on other iPhones around to determine the approximate location. The big ones use GPS on their own, hence the bigger size (as far as I know) and work without a phone.

Yeah, this is why I decided against getting a apple tag for my cat. No use in getting one when probably more than half the population have android (including me).

I've heard of ppl with tortoises putting one of those airpod trackers on them. guess they're accurate to within 10 ft or so.

In pursuit of better food I'm going to visit this place this morning. There are farmers markets in the area but often one needs a car to get to them. This place is on a bus route with regular buses. Catch the buses right and a three quarter of an hour journey time seems possible.
