I'll have to find a way of viewing the videos. They won't play for me on my computers.Shad you can do with chickens like this guy did with bees. He's in Bristol and says there's 60 species of bees in his garden.

And there lies the problem. Some stuff just works and that is what I want.I was really glad I had Google backup and my old phone.
Yesterday had an issue with my Motorola phone recognizing the unlock pattern.
Solution was to reset.
One way was to turn off and back on holding certain buttons.... needed to unlock to turn off though. So that wasn't an option.
The other way was to go through my Google account and do a factory reset from there, which worked.
But for some reason I had previously set up so I had to have a security code sent to the phone. Either the new phone, which couldn't go through because it wasn't set up yet, or my old phone. I still have the old phone and that worked.
What's new? It makes a change from having the local Baron send the boys round and all your business spread over town by the local gossip.I really am feeling like an old fart these days. All this every-increasing complexity to supposedly protect our privacy, and yet everything about us is online somewhere, free or to those with connections for the right price.![]()
Nope sorry. I know so little about plants that I'm not confdent I would know it if I saw it.@Perris & @Shadrach a small diversion if I may? Tax to follow later.
Following on from the post about Solomon’s Seal & as you are both in westerly parts of UK I wondered if you had come across Bath Asparagus?

I have a couple starting to flower on my allotment so not enough to try just yet!
I still have the Google apps on my phone because they simply work. Nothing beats Google Maps for maps. It's super annoying but I put up with it because oh well. And there lies the problem. Some stuff just works and that is what I want.
I've had people say to me I shouldn't use Amazon. Supporting local ventures is a great idea until one wants something they don't have. Amazons range is vast and what I buy gets delivered. It's easy and it works.
I should point out I easily managed to make the data transfer from old phone to new a total pigs ear, mainly because I had got rid of a lot their services on the old phone.![]()
Probably a litle bit offtopic, but I do find it interesting that BYC automatically links the website of TSC also written as tractor supply whenever mentioned. Ofcourse it's a very popular place to get chicks from in the USA, but here in the Netherlands I can't even access the siteBut of course, using common sense and not clicking on weird links and emails is an absolutely required first step.
It's pretty much point and shoot. You can turn on the exposure controls in the settings for the camera. Well worth it if you want to bother tweaking the light before taking the photo.Three hours today. Warm with sunny spells.
I took lots of pictures with the new phone. No post processig and not much of an idea of how to use the camera properly. Bear in mind I compress all the pictures I post unless it's for one of the competitions are compressed and I think BYC compresses them again.
I'm pleased with the phone camera and the audio.

This shot would probably been a fail with the camera and the old phone. The light is fading. No flash for the roosting picture so again the phone camera has done well.
