Thanks, that was a good article. We have Coopers hawks here, I've seen them a couple times, trying to snatch birds at my feeders. I read that they are good at flying through heavily wooded areas, dodging around the trees. Inspection of Coopers hawks shows evidence of healed bone fractures, from when they weren't as skillful at flying.These predators are quite intelligent.

I tried leaving it in a bowl. They didn't touch it.
Now I scatter a handfull on the ground, one handfull in the coop run and another just outside in the extended run. They all eat it now.

EYP sucks. That's what took Skeksis from me.Thank you! I'll try that. Though Little is doing her best to do that for me.
Their shells have gotten thinner, and I'm concerned I'll be dealing with EYP.
