Is that a doody on Mow's booty? Seems like the first time we've seen that on her bodacious cotton ball.

The molt is nigh, the bummer-est of chicken seasons. Everybirdy's getting grouchy and scruffy. I know that around here, a doody booty isn't as much out of the norm as usual.

I'm back to giving some of the hens oats with milk thistle extract in the mornings. It does seem to perk them right up. Not sure that's the milk thistle's fault; they aren't as eating as much commercial feed currently but love oats, so the calories may be making them feel better.

Of course I mean freedom of speech for all people. Not just the ones that are followers of (intolerant) leaders. Im not sorry , and I don’t hold back. bc I don’t risk anything in my country as long as I’m no public figure.

Since several years we don’t have a complete freedom of speech in my country either. Bc politicians and artists who do speak out, often get harassed with words, receive threatenings from intolerant people. Hatred against certain groups is rising. I have to stop here, bc my English is just not good enough to express myself, or my feelings about the things that are going on. And you are right. Shads thread is not the right place to do so.

I do admit my English, the choice of words is often a bit simplistic because it’s not my native language and I never lived in an English speaking country where I needed to learn it properly. My mind is rather complex though. And I am worried about the future for all the people who mean well.

I'm trying to move Periwinkle to a better nesting site but she is being so stubborn! When I finally got her used to the nest and slid eggs under her, she took off to a different one and regathered her plastic eggs.
