Hello
@Shadrach.
The time came and went. I've lost Fabio. Earlier this year. It was heartbreaking.
This young man is the best I currently have out of 9 sexually mature cockerels, all but one of which have been successfully rehomed to be flock roosters.

He was riding herd on the rapists.
He is the only one of the boys I've ever seen tid-bitting the hens/pullets.
He is the only one I've seen standing guard.
He has started showing more of an interest in the whole egg laying business.
The 2 older ermine pullets chose him and roost with him at night.
He has an incredible crow. His voice even sounds like Fabio's, but this boy has added a note into the crow that Fab didn't have.
I've named him Doc, after the character Doc Holiday from Tombstone in honor of one of my favorite actors, Val Kilmer. Wyatt is my sole dominant white Ameraucana cockerel who has not yet reached sexual maturity and is still coming along in the younger batch that was hatched out this year. I hope they get along as well as Wyatt and Doc did in real life.
