Shame on you for having chicks in. Right by the door. In the exact breed I wanted. I've had my eye on the Easter Eggers for weeks. Couldn't resist!

the pale one in the middle looks alot like one i got who is now a month old and everyone i ask says its a roo! is it a roo, or do they just come in different colors?

It's easier to 'sneak in' 2 or 3 than it is 10, so I just get mine in groups of 2 (the buddy system) & rotating them out to the grow out pen & then into the 'big girl' pen. I'm the only one that does headcout at night, so no one else is the wiser!

I've been told there are LOTS of different colors. The middle looks larger because it was standing and the others are sitting down. Sooooo, we'll just have to see what it ends up being! Hopefully not a rooster.

But there was no chick minimum.
