Welcome! I like the coop and brooder! Venting underneath the roosts is a bit drafty. Along the roofline is more practical for releasing the heat and humidity.

They have been left to right, right to left. I just have to make sure that it’s clear for the kids which way they need to be turned. They’re not as excited as I am, so they don’t care if they get it wrong.

Lol, that’s always the case.

Didn’t find chalk, but made much smaller tags with arrows. I found the best place for incubation was in a spare room, fan blowing away from the incubator, and a window cracked. I did read that they need a lot of circulated fresh air and can’t be placed in a corner or against a wall.

Don’t mind the piles of unused exercise equipment. Doesn’t everyone have that in a room, basement or garage?

Yes, my free weights are sticking out a bit, from their shelter under the couch.So I know where they are IF I ever decide to use them again.

In my defense, we just moved from 3000 sq ft to 1300 sq ft. So there is a little extra laying around. But went from zero yard to 6 acres!
