Share Pics of your Duck Eggs

Thanks! I got the idea here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=160244
Mine
are done with paint pen and glitter glue and the feather eggs are just feathers 'decoupaged' onto the duck eggs.
Duck eggs are easier for me than chicken eggs, I guess, because of the difference in shell texture.

Day 7. my regular light I use for candling went out so I'm using a medical scope light. Does everything look ok? Its getting harder to spot the embyro in all the eggs but that could be the light.

Cool! How many are developing?

Out of 6 that I set all but one were developing. The one was a yolker and I already pulled it from bator. I plan to candle them again on day 14.

Hi! Candling duck eggs is so rewarding --- they dance!
I candled my duck eggs set the 17th this morning and they are all looking good.
Candled the group set the 30th (early) and found two that are slower or started and stopped (I see veins but not as defined as the others), but the rest are growing well.
I was going to set another group of eggs yesterday for the New Years Hatch (chickens for Christmas hatch), but I decided to wait and set next (chicken and duck eggs) on the 11th.

you have the exact same breeds as me lol

do you know if the darker eggs are from the muskovy or the mallard? I know it really doesn't matter but I would like to know who's laying which!
