Yes that dress is the current style, and it's a lovely one. My wedding dress in 2000 had a crimson underskirt, and at the time everyone was surprised at it. Turns out i'm ahead of the curve (this time).

I'm only 5'1 so I had to find a dress that wasn't wearing me.

NICE pic, PC! My niece bought that exact same style of dress except hers had a burnt orange (doesn't sound pretty, but it really was) color inset instead of the deep red. I've seen it in LOTS of other colors, too, and they're all beautiful. I think my niece bought hers on ebay. She had looked all around where she lived and could find NOTHING she liked that would fit (smart aleck tiny little squirt...

)

and found that one & liked it. Another niece also bought her wedding dress on ebay and looked like a million bucks in hers (different style, even machine washable, but VERY much a wedding dress!) Gotta love that ebay!

Congrats to your friends on their wedding, PC!
