I forgot to add my favorite breeds, though I have already had them before, they’d definitely be in my dream flock- seramas, OEGBs, sebrights, and d’uccles. I currently have a sebright, a d’uccle, and a d’uccle/serama.

Bantams are small, so you can have more of them. They also eat less. To me, at least, the shape/type of most bantams is more appealing than the classic dual purpose body type of a lot of standards. Oh, and they don’t lay as many eggs, so they’re less prone to reproductive disease.
Mainly it’s the first reason.
