**SHARE YOUR MOST UNIQUE CHICKEN NAME**

This made me laugh so much!

I dont have any chickens yet but we have Big Fat Chlois the cat. I though he was a girl to start and named him Chloe and then it became apparent that she was a he and hubby started calling him Chlois-it stuck.

Madonna : A black sex link who struts around like she owns the place.

Apollo: Rooster, soon to be soup.

Not the most creative names, but heck, I like 'em.

My flock are caled :-

Eggletina
Henrietta
Rusty and
Bonny.

The first two are obvious! Rusty so called because he is a glorious rusty colour, and Bonny got her name Because she behaved like a gangster when she moved into Peckingham Palace! (Bonny and Clyde). She is also the cutest. Once she'd settled in, she turned out to be the most gentlest and sweetest of them all!

We are currently hatching more eggs, and here are our favourite names (all egg or chicken related!)

Girls

Eider (as in eiderdown) Ginger, Chickadee, Mini, Lemoni, Edwina (British Politician who cause salmonella scandal in the 80's!) Belinda, Shelly, pavlova, Speckle.

Boys

Kellog, Rocky, Fowler, Chuck, Charles, Henry, Pollo, Colonel, Cajun, Barney, Cooper.

We'd love suggestions for our next lot of chicks!

I have a silver-spangled hamburg called "Hamburger", a laugh since this cocky rooster will never land on the table!

Both of these chickens are in chicken heaven now, but there names were:

Fluffy Buffy: My favorite Buff Orpington

Unipod: My adorable one-legged chicken

I miss them so much now!

We have a GLW rooster we call Cowboy. He injured one of his legs when he was a little and now walks bow legged.

I had a white crested black polish rooster whose name was Phyllis. His brother's name was Tina.
