Our funniest name is "Stretch", she's a gold sexslink . We named her that because when a peep she was always stretching to get things and see what was going on. kind of a curious george type chick. What's really funny is now she lays huge eggs regularly. Double and even triple size ones every few days so her name "Stretch" really does fit her in more ways then one.

Here are a few more that we are working on:

Now that our Bantam BO's are here, they have decided on:

Hayley and Hilary Buff (Bantam BO's)

Q-Tip (White Cochin Frizzle)

Buffy the Chicken Slayer (Bantam BO)

Moo (Black Cochin Frizzle)

Roo (Red Cochin Frizzle)

Cookie (Dark Brahma-I hope for it's sake that it's a girl!)

And now that my kids have a newfound obsession with Weird Al Yankovic, my older daughter wants to name one of the babies that comes from the eggs we're about to incubate "Weird Al Chickovic" I assume we'll call it Al for short. My 9 year old has been pretty inventive with chicken names so far. She has me chuckling. In case you missed my previous post, we already have birds named:

Pip (Squeak)- Sebright roo

Pepsi- Either a OEGB or a Sebright cross Suspect is a roo, not sure though

Millie- d'Uccle, Mille Fleur in color pullet

Sir Wyandotte- SLW roo

Goldie- GLW pullet

Mystery- Cross of uknown origins Sex unknown at this point

Jersey- Either a Jersey Giant, a Minorca, or an Australorp pullet

Olina- Standard Partridge Turken pullet

Twinkle & Sprinkle- Araucana pullets

Dolly Partridge, Ginger, & Lu Lu- Bantam Partridge Cochin pullets

Abner (short for Abstract)- Bantam Splash Cochin roo

Buddy- Bantam Barred Cochin roo

Petunia- Bantam Barred Cochin pullet

Omelet & Amber- Amber Sexlinks pullets

Poachy- Amber Sexlink roo (at least the coloring SAYS he's a roo)

Dora, Lizzy, Peanut, & Princess- Bantam Splash Cochin pullets

Hector, Holly, and Heidi- White Silkies

As of tomorrow we'll have some crossbreed eggs in the bator, and I am sure my kids will come up with some VERY interesting names for them. Plus we have some Bantam Turken eggs in my neighbor's incubator that are set to hatch the 13th I do believe. They are thinking up some interesting names for them right now. I like seeing on here what everyone else is calling their chickens. My kids get a real kick out of this thread. We'll keep watching it for inspiration...
