**SHARE YOUR MOST UNIQUE CHICKEN NAME**

I named our 8 chicks after the reindeer, since we got them December 23rd. This just made it tougher when we lost one and now there are seven. I have a hard time remebering the reindeer names,
Cupid, Comet, Donner, Blitzen, Vixen, Dancer, Prancer. I guess the one I can't remember is the one that didn't make it.

First chickens we hatched were named Omelet and Eggbert
then we added Brownie a brown Naked Neck mix
Sally a grey naked neck mix
Holly a silkie hatched on Halloween
the other 20 plus chickens have no names!
Eggbert and Sally will come when their names are called.

We had a pekin duck named DuckTape, but the geese killed her. My 5yo son came up with the name and it just kinda stuck...

I have a bossy and gorgeous black andalusian named Queen Latifah.

We have a little blue bantam cochin cockerel with awful vulture hocks. They're so big they look like tail fins on a 1950's Cadillac. So that's his name - Cadillac.

We had an EE rooster who we thought was an ameraucana, so his name was Benjamin Franklin.

For any of you who read Hank the Cowdog, we had a black minorca roo named J.T. Cluck.

We have an EE pullet who likes to pick our hair and eat it, so she's named Harriet.

What is an OE hen? She is really pretty. I love Doobie, what kind is that? Is she a polish?

Peanut is a Blue Wheaton Old English hen. Very small.

Doobie is a White crested black polish roo.

My 5 new Delaware chicks are named after my favorite foods...

Hi,

I have 26 chickies coming in two weeks, they are all girl egg layers. My favorite hen will be named Oschter Haws, [ pronounced Havs], after the german white easter hare.

My rooster is Mai Love. A beautiful Americana "hen" named after my dear Aunt Mai Love that passed away........the name had already stuck by the time "she" started crowing! I call him Love for short.

We had a game hen named Harrah. [get it?]

And at one time we had Matilda, Hilda, Imelda, Zelda and Gilda.

Now we have Phyllis the white-crested black Polish, Lupita the blue Andalusian, Roxie the silver-penciled Wyandotte, Sadie the Rhode Is. Red, and still old Matilda the Dominique.
