I have a little pullet named Kickstand. She has a leg that is bent at a 90 degree angle out to the right side of her body. She hops around on the good left leg and is normal and happy in every other way, lol

My four Welsummers and Barnevelders are named after my Dutch grandmother and other ancestors from that side of the family. They are Carrie Bartleson, Pietranella, Wilhelmena and Anna. One of my EEs is named Vanessa.
Two of my ducks are Pat and Leo Khaki Campbell.

We had a white rock named "duckie" my not quite two year old niece couldn't figure out that it was a chicken and not a duck. She carried that hen around the whole weekend saying....Duckie! DUCKIE!
It was so funny it stuck.

I have two nearly identical hens except for their comb flop, I call them Star(board) and Port.
A neighbor girl named a Jersey Giant hen Blak-Blak because she had black feathers and black feet.
I also have a Black Jersey Giant Roo with some red hackles I call Redneck. He crows alot.
