I have an EE named Olive Oil, because when her wing feathers were coming in they stuck out to the sides and it made me think of Olive Oil on Popeye with her arms flailing. "Oooh, Popeye!" Conveniently, she now lays olive colored eggs

The rest have boring regular names.

Aaron Marshmellow - a white Silky

There are others... but only she can remember all their crazy names!

Most of the hens here are not names....mainly because there are too many! LOL The roosters all are named, normal names.. Ruby ( RIR) Gin( BO) Zee( BR) Biggun( Banty Cochin Frizzle) Little man( Bigguns son) Chester(Banty Cochin) The only unique named one is a Barred Rock rooster, born rumpless....his name...Rumpless Stiltskin. I call him Rumples.

Oh and forgot to add: Abby, our Red Star hen, used to have a completely bald rump, including her butt and she had ONE feather as a tail!

Now she has a bunch of feathers, after we got rid of the mites. But we used to call her "Bald Butt" LOL!

We also called Marty, our RIR rooster, Bald Butt #2 because he also lost his tail and feathers during winter. Poor guy. He also lost all the points on his comb and has 1 spur. We still thinks he's a handsome boy, and he does too!

Struts around like he's the handsomest rooster in the world.
