There was:

RLC (Runs like nutcase)
Wrongway - pipped wrong end, got stuck
Magellan (couldn't find her way out of a paper bag)
Tinker - broke the heat lamp
A..backwards - obviously a relative of Wrongway.
Algernon - after a favorite football player Algie Crumpler

Rolf - after a football kicker - kicked out of egg too early nearly bled to death.

I have an 8 week old golden laced wyandotte named Roobe -( pronounced Ruby) because we think she may "be-a-roo" Roo-be" get it? I certainly hope not because he/she is the friendliest of the 6 chicks and follows me around the garden like a puppy waiting for hand-outs etc. If she is a he- I will have to re-home him- I am in the city and will definitely be called out- any takers?- I live in So Cal- north san diego

I have a few interesting ones! Some were from the past, others I have right now.

Past Chickens:

Millhouse OEG bantam rooster.

Mr.T Black bantam Silkie rooster; name means Mr. Tranquility.

Hera Buff Orpington hen, rather sweet.

Zeus Another Buff Orpington hen. Showed as a rooster in the county fair, and took second place under the danish system.

Present Chickens:

Napoleon (aka Sarge) Bantam cochin; he doesn't know how small he really is, and defeated our two Brown Leghorn roosters with a few kicks.

Millie Another cochin bantam, sweeter than anything, and I really don't know why she's named that. It just seemed to fit!

Annabelle White Rock bantam hen; a real sweetheart! Very gentle and kind, the smallest bird in our flock.

Emilia Named after Emilia in Shakespeare's play Othello. She seemed to have a personality like the woman in the play, and the name stuck!

My brown leghorn is named Biache' because she was pecking at the other two chicks eyes when we first brought them home.

The other two names are boring, Red (RIR) and Pepper (light brahma).
