Did I post this? This is my new Giant pullet getting acclimated to the coop, and one of the wussiest of my girls, a molting blue cochin, getting in her face while she can't get to her yet. The Giant is only 6 months old. It just cracks me up.

Evidently puppy bones don't calcify until 45 days or so. So they won't show up on X-ray until after that.

SO, she could be pregnant OR she could have a closed pyometra, in which case it is a medical emergency and she will have to be spayed TOMORROW. If it is pyometra and her uterus ruptures she will very likely die.

SO I am calling a specialist in 1 min that has an ultrasound and will be able to tell if she is pregnant or not. Ultrasound will be scheduled for tomorrow morning, believe me.
