OMG!! I love those wood ducks. They are so picturesque with their coloring. I wish I had room but I don't. I found a home for my seramas so I meet them Monday for pick up. I hate to see them go, but ............

They are all together in the pen-Poor Chuckie has never seen another duck in his 10 months of life so when I put those 2 skittish girls in he looked at me as if to say " what the heck am I supposed to do and why mom?" I hope they get along and get to be friends in the next week...
The large plastic doghouse in there was free yesterday I got 2 of them! SO excited for the ducks and my dogs to have them! Thats 20 x 10

This is another pen set up I have with no one in it yet. I usually put a roo and 3 girls in there-they love the old kitchen cuboard set up-nest on bottom-roost on one side-small sleeping box on top-they go in at night and the doors all lock up safe and sound-last year my trio took forever to break from staying in there when winter hit-they loved it:-( too cold for all winter though-its 20 x 10

Heres my grow out coop-it looks like there open spots to get out but you cant its all chicken wired-every nook and cranny
perfect to grow out into until I figure out sexes then sell or freezer camp the roos I dont need or will use. It looks small but its very large and could easilt fit 8-10 full grown chickens-theres 3 nesting boxes in way back-which I block off since they dont need it.

Yes I'm Interested. Geez Nat, just sell them to me for what you want to get. Bidding wars are hard on me!

Edited to say what you want to get within reason!

Happy easter everybody! Congrats to everybody's developing eggs and chicks!

Mary, it was nice to meet you your DH and 2 kids! My dogs loved your kids!

Also, sadly the little bantam lav am. started distressed peeping on the way home and never stopped. It was dead this morning.

I gave it sugar water and heat and pulled out all the stops and it died anyway. No bloody diarrhea, normal poop.
The other 2 seem fine and are in quarantine. That cochin is TINY, please remind me how old it is? It is slightly bigger than my newborn bantam MFD'uccles and cochins. I have NO idea what that chipmunk chick is! Is it a bantam?

I'll bet you 5 bucks I have a dark brahma roo. It NAILED my hand when I took it out of the cage.

Make sure you hang onto that pullet! Its the one that is feathered in more.

Read the sexing chart you put up - doesn't it say pullets feather in faster? Better keep ahold of that other LF frizz cochin, too, I think that is a pullet and I got a roo. It will be interesting to see!

I did come home to 3 just hatched little bantam barred frizzle cochins! All the eggs that made it to lockdown hatched!

I have BMF that was pipped when I got up this morning. To be honest though, I don't think it's still alive. The membrane looks funny. I hate to open the bator to get it out and endanger the others since I have one of the BR/EE's pipped, too. However, my humidity just jumped to 79 after holding around 68 for a full day. I think I'll wait and see if I see it move and if it is struggling. How can a chick be shrink wrapped if the humidity has been good??? It did make a huge hole in the side of the egg.
