Blessed, congrats on your hatch! What's that black thing?

Sometimes I have a pip that ends up being one of the last hatchers. It's a good thing, at least you know it can get air. And I think now that one is out, they tend to excite the others into breaking out too. Just keep that humidity up!

Nava's turkeys are beautiful, well, as beautiful as a turkey can be.

I had to open the bator because a BR/EE hatched and had it's foot caught in the wire and was getting cut. The chick is fine, but I took the opportunity to grab the BMF. It was indeed dead, and shrink wrapped. It seemed fully ready, no blood or anything left. Can't figure what happened.

Lovin, the BR/EE that hatched is solid black, except for the very tips of it's wings which are white and it's beard, which is white. Pics in the morning.

Nat - my home laptop crashed about 7 minutes before the end of your auction. I had my DH all over it running anti-virus stuff and disk clean up. Works okay now, after like 3 hours of messing with it! A DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT of course. What is it with your eggs and me??? Last time I was stuck in traffic, nearly killing my kids to get to the Auction!!! Maybe it's not meant to be for now... After this Wednesday I have no more eggs hatching and none on the way. Maybe it's time for a break after all...

Nat, I'm serious, she can have my silkie eggs. She has room to breed them and really really wants them, and I don't want her to kill her kids trying to get back to the next auction! I'll buy the OEs when you have them, let her buy the silkies.
