Stupid hawks!!!! I am not a fan anymore after the other day.
I still love them... even though I know what they're capable of...
Exhausted again for all the hours it took to just catch up from Friday morning! Went to the Northeastern Poultry Congress in Springfield, Mass - what an excellent show! Definitely going to show next year. Great people, great sales area. Met a few other BYCers. But, I've actually never been somewhere where it was 1 degree out. Guess I should get used to that if I want to move to Ithaca? So - who here is going to the Delamarva Show in March?
OK - here goes:
Momma - sounds like you had a great day - should have posted my wishes before I left for the show! Can't wait for Friday!
J - You are a very naughty boy! No dessert for you.
Bob - Good job finding your thief! It always amazes me how dumb some people are. Sounds like a crappy situation with lazy people and "protected" people.
Nat - thanks for the auction link, but don't you think the incubator should get here first? Besides, you get me going and you be getting boxes of extra chicks at your house! I'm only going to be hatching out tiny handfuls on an "as needed" basis. Stop being my pusher.
Frou-frou chicken people - I was actually impressed with the WCB that was on Champions row at the Congress - John Henning? He had a white pair in the sale area that went for $100. I know nothing about the breed, but even I could tell they were superior examples.
Forgot to look at the silkies. No - forgot to look for the silkies - that's it.
Sem - I will ponder the weigh in, because doing that means I actually have to do it. Again.
Hope I didn't miss anyone - I wish there was a way to consolidate all these pages!

Oooo, I almost forgot! I was opening coops this morning before I left for work and my Tolbunt roo apparently learned how to crow while he was at the farm show, because he was loud and proud this morning!
Me either! But it's not the one that got our Roxy after Christmas. This one is smaller and almost blue. But it sure freaked the girls out and scared the poop outta me!
