We have a mating pair of great horned owls, I love to listen to them at night and they keep the rat population down... that's ok by me!

Ya know I really hate it when someone contacts you to buy something, then you don't hear anything. Someone contacted me several times about a pair of MF D'Uccles, we talked about what days are good to meet. Then I hear nothing.

I also have a saddle on ebay, someone contacted me to buy it, then I don't hear anything. I guess now she will have to wait the 7 days to bid on it. I had taken it off cause she didn't want to wait. It's been 48 hours with no contact. So I relisted it.

The spupples are doing really well and are very, exceedingly fat. I'm thinking of asking dak if pups can be too fat!

These little guys have fat rolls on their fat rolls!

Their eyes just started opening yesterday, and they are doing little push-ups instead of just crawling around. Means they can inch worm around a lot faster!

Maggie feeds them and cleans them, but still doesn't take a lot of notice when they cry in distress. Fat Boy crawled out over my mattress and out onto the tile floor and was crying and barking away when I got out of the shower. Maggie was curled up on the mattress and just kind of looked at me like what????

So I think a foot high barrier will be going up, shortly. Maybe I can get John to rip a piece of plywood.

I'll take some pics and get them up today. Fat Boy probably weighs a couple of pounds!

Losers, eat what you want tonight. Tomorrow morning, empty bladder and get on the scale and get your baseline, and do not post it. Next Monday post the difference-loss or gain. And if you want, post how you lost some weight. We would already know how you gained it!

We will have some very nice support!

I am gonna do the weight loss. Ugh!

I hope the additional support will help me stick with it.

Sem on my niece it is really hard to watch her have them. Luckily her meds are working. When she first started having them we has no idea what was going on. She just seemed clumsier than normal. Then when she was at school she had her first big one. It was rough on her. Hopefully the meds continue to control them.

What are we doing again? Weighing ourselves and posting our losses each Monday after that?

Oh...and Mary...I forgot to mention on the phone...Widget is doing awesome. I love that lil' girl.

I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I hate to rehome my birds because I love them, but it's because I love them that I try to find them better flocks where they're not alone all the time. Isn't she the cutest? I rehomed a really nice buff brahma hen to my friend Mike who you met at Syracuse and she's doing really well with him.

Now it's the Buff Am to Karen, and the quirky splash LF cochin - anyone? Anyone? I have to get new pics.
