I believe Dan has both golden laced and buff laced in this particular pen I recieved my eggs from. Luckily enough, the two chicks I hatched were both homozygous for dominant white. I really need to ask him what the heterozygotes look like as adults, but I figure I'll know soon enough when I cross them with the Golden laced Cochins. If you look on the Greenfire site they have a pretty picture of the three laced varieties of Brahmas in one pic. I believe Big M is working on Blue laced Reds also.
My White crested black polish crossed himself with a Buff Laced Polish. The chicks came out off-white with black specks and spots. As their feathers grew in, the girls remained that color, and the boys grew in dark buff lacing.
Do the polish people cross the gold and buff laced?
These were the two that hatched

I was told not to cross BL with anything because you would end up with weird colors. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try sometime and see what we end up with.
I am excited about BigM's BLRB's! They are going to be gorgeous.
The chicks are very cute, Dak. You can see the lacing already on the one on the left. How old are they?
I don't know what happened to the reply here but it's not here. So, my wcbp decided to cross himself with my blp, and the offspring was off-white with black specks/spots. The girls stayed that color, and the boys at a few months old started to get some dark buff lacing.
