C. He will get home today! He said it stopped snowing around 2am so he's done with roads and now has sidewalks around town. Just waiting to hear if Em has clinicals today or not. But she doesn't start until 1pm anyway so we'll see. Everything is closed so I'm hoping!

Well, he's hoping Em gets a snow day too! It stopped snowing here last night, so my kids didn't even have a 2-hour delay.

J is out working on the 4-wheeler. The winch cable frayed for the snow plow, so he's gotta fix that then plow our driveway.

OK when he's done, send him here!

I am kidding you nut!!!!!!!!!! I have the snow blower so it's not too bad! I just have to shovel to the garage and then I'm good! I like to get out in the fresh air! It'll just take us a bit today, lotttttttttttttssssssssssss of snow!!!!!

Karen...so good to see you, you tiny lil' thing! The chicks are so cute...and HUGE! I put them in with my 2 week old showgirls...the White Ams are more than twice their size. And from now on, I'm calling DH Mr. Muggs! Ha ha.

OMG! I just had visions of you out there talking to your girls and smearing lipstick around their vents

. It would probably work, I just haven't heard that one before and found it very humorous, sorry. Ok, food coloring method. Drop a drop at a time onto her vent, she will suck it right up in like she does when a roo mates her. Give her a good 10 drops. It should leave fine streaks on the egg. The girl I did it to looked like somebody ever so lightly just ran a blue colored pencel down the egg.

I'm going to suppose you don't use that lipstick again for anything but chickens? I used to know a large animal vet that would check for foals or calfs, rinse his hands in the spigot and then chew his nails!
