Maran cockerels have a more prominent comb at hatch.
They also have the wing feather length disparity thing going.
BCM's are the most obvious, and by 2 weeks the boys have definite combs.

I recently hatched out a batch of BCM's that I was selling for $5 each. This young guy comes along on the day after they hatch and takes ALL THE GIRLS!!!!
so unfair, but I did learn from him. I had to give away the boys.
