Oh Nat, the Cornish you raised were cornish X. They use cornish and either delawares or white rocks to create those. Pure Cornish are a little different. The idea was to cross the two breeds to get a bird with a big double breast like the cornish but that grew a lot quicker.

Glocks are nice, and they hold a lot of rounds. Loaded with hornady critical defense or Cor-Bons they are awesome.

Sounds delicious. Maybe we'll have Cor-Bon bleu for dinner.... with a side of pasta.

That's ok, I didn't realize that cornish were a game bird. Weird, I always thought the games were the tall jungle fowl looking things. Those little bruisers are like bulldogs.

Nat, Yeah major diferences between cornishXbroilers(blobs) and straight Cornish, just as between the hatchery Cornish and SQ breeder birds. Overseas they are called Indian Games.

Glad to hear your big boy is coming along. Their early attempts at crowing puts me in mind of someone strangling a small dinosaur, kind of a gurgling roar.

George, there where about 20 people including kids at last nights meetup, usual chicken chat and food. It was Nick's birthday, there was excellent chocolate cake with a chicken on it for desert. Sounds like next one will again in Waynesville first Saturday of next month. Should introduce the wifes, they could hang out here and watch chick movies, mine has no interest in going either.

The new radio station is one of 4 or 5 that is broadcasting Northern Kentucky University programing. The local station is 105.9 FM, they are also on the net at WNKU.org, for the rest of you. Not sure if caps or not. P.C. they played a full hour of Dead from 11 to 12 last night. Listening again this morning, so far I'm likeing the hell out of it.
