I haven't used them yet! I keep waiting and waiting for the perfect moment...how silly...I just keep thinking I don't want them ruined. I didn't buy them to be practical, I bought them becuase they were so cute...

just remember, they are usable and washable. but hey, if you don't need them yet, great, you have them for when you do need them.

someone please bid over 16.50 for big boy's eggs. had a huge fight with DH and if I win this auction it is only going to get worse. We are down to choosing chickens over an 8 year relationship (at least that is how he sees it). I can't take any more stress. Since Dec of last year, I have lost my grandfather, my aunt, been diagnosed with strokes and now seizures. I am at the end of my rope. I would tell him to hit the road but it just isn't me that would be affected. He has been in my children's lives for 8 years and is the only father they have known.

Please help!

Nava- you are my hero

Brindle- have you ever been at the point that it isn't what is the cause of the argument but just someone needs a reason--- the chickens are the reason for today. I told him that if we were just too much (we were a ready made family) then maybe he needed to go and stay with friends and think if we are what he wants. I'd so rather he be happy somewhere else then with us and everyone is miserable.

We'll see. I have the benefit of a few relationships under my belt and know that I can survive as a single...I just hate it. I know that I do better as a half of a pair but I can be a single mom again. It won't be as bad as a before. We did have a stent of living out of the car and some time at the domestic violence shelter when I left the children's dad, at least now I just rent the farm down from my parents and am surrounded by family now.
