So you lived thru that H1N1 Flu. Good for you. Lucky for me I was with my DD when it went thru her whole family, and didn't get it.

LOL, I had H1N1 about a year ago, and got it the day we left from Disneyland, a 10 hour car ride home and I was miserable, but still I think this one was worse!

yah blame the DH ---most are enablers Mine is not! LOL you have been updated!

Oh and all my BLRW from Foley's have pasty butts! ahhh the shipping dies it to them I swear! I have to cut some as@ right now!

Hi there sonew, I just read this about the pasty butts and wanted to respond. I also ordered chicks from them and most of them got pasty. I cleaned them twice and now they are fine. I thought maybe it was due to them getting chilled during shipment as well. I also increased my heat on them and they have been fine ever since. So I guess I don't know if they just got over it or if the extra heat helped. Just thought I would share this tid bit of info. All of my chicks that I have hatched out here at home have never got pasty bums so I am leaning more towards the shipping stress/chilled aspect.

Thanks Danny-yeah my easy solution is to cut all butt fuzz off! Nothing to stick too it has always worked for me:)

yah she has a big fat chest too!!!

I put 10 ameraucana eggs under my broody brabanter and her whole look changed. The eggs were about a week and 1/2 along and she has spread out over them and looks ever so pleased with herself. I hope it all works out! She would be a good mother hen.

OK guys...well girls - help me out here. I am in NH ordered eggs from GA. They shipped at 2 PM on Tuesday. They are not here today!!!

It has never taken this long. What should I do.

Called the PO they took tracking # said yup they were received when you said they were.....Duh!

Should I be this worried?

Sem!! How are you doing?

Mary, whatcha hatching now? I want to thank you for all the rain you sent me last week! One day I was afraid I wouldn't get to work on time because the lightning was so bad that I couldn't get from the house to the car.

My 20 JG eggs are in the bator. I have an rcom eco 20 and I just can't get the temp right. I recalibrated it using my spot check brinsea thermometer, but it still doesn't stay where it's supposed to. I'm really mad-those things aren't cheap.

That is scary lightening!

And disturbing about the new 'bator! Have you called rcom customer service to let them know about the problem? Maybe they would have a helpful hint of replace it.

edited for syntax
