Mary, you poor girl. I was so excited last year when I had 1 broody. They've gone a little over-board this year. I am going to have to kick the teens out of the enclosed area of the coop for the new one, as all the broody cages are taken at the moment. Man, if I knew I was going to have this many broodies, just think of the money I could have saved on the new bator this year

and gotten better hatch rates to boot (remember the 78 set/16 hatched disaster?)!!!

Now watch, next year, I won't set any in the bators and wait for my broodies, and the little boobs won't go broody just to spite me

You know, this just reminded me what it was probably the posts about the word b!tch meaning a female canine and being a word that is quite commonly used (not as a denigrating term) that got deleted by the mods. Bingo. Bet that is it.
