I am there too!! You are only 3-4 hours from me. Just not October 16 to the 24th...I will be sailing the ocean blue

LOL the naked necks can stay in the pool house! lol.. Im still reying to work on DH-there's still alot of work to our house that has to be done-we did the cabin first to offset the mortgage payments-all our carpets need to be ripped out and replaced-bleah

The 1 yr old dog has just barely been trained ..terd!

Hey everybody!!! I just won that Mini Brinsea incubator that was on the BSA!!

It was really a nail-biter. I didn't think I was gonna get it towards the end. But I SNIPED it! Anyway, I got it to try and improve my hatch rate on shipped Showgirl eggs. My last batch had 70% development, but only 2 hatched 7/10, 2/10, and only 1 was a Showgirl.

If it works, and I get what I need, I was wondering if any of you with difficult eggs to hatch (Nat, I was thinking of your call duck eggs) would be interested in borrowing it for the price of shipping-$10. My home made cabinet bator does fine with my other eggs, but not the Showgirls.

I think if I get it packaged up right, it shouldn't hurt it to make multiple trips around the country. And it would be kind of neat to see if it could help all of us with what we have trouble hatching. I just won some Blue Marans from Peachick, and I think I'll test it out on those.

Oh, here's a funny story:

Last night around midnight, I was cruising around the auctions (after taking my Seroquel-NOT a smart thing to do), and wanted to bid on Peachicks Wheaten Ameracaunas. I meant to bid 35.00, but after I hit the button, it said "Congratulations, you are currently the high bidder with a maximum bid of 3500.00 "

I freaked out and tried to find a moderator who was online to fix it. Well, I started to PM Nifty, and then I guess I must have fallen asleep. When I woke up this morning, I didn't even remember any of it.

then later this afternoon, I got a PM that I had won an auction I didn't even remember bidding on!

When I saw the auction, it all came back to me- Oh it's my 3500.00 eggs. So I nervously clicked on the link and saw that they had gone for 50 something dollars; well that's OK I thought, it could have been worse, it could have been SLBs or something. Anyway, I think Peachicks blue eggs are totally worth it. They look fantastic. And I just got some of her Marans, so in about 7 or 8 months, hopefully, I should have that beautiful basket of brown and blue eggs


So girls, let that be a lesson to you.....be careful of what you bid on after taking your Nite- Nite pills!
