In babies, or adults?

Thanks, I guess I was talking in general. I have a real light (cream) color JG, and I can't really say that the color of the wings growing in is blue or lavender. I'll have to post a pic of both.

Klf, thanks for the link. It looks like what I have. I wonder............

well, unless someone(aka breeder that you got eggs from) is working on a project I don't think it can be lav. There are many shades of blue. I am unaware of JG's coming in lav.....or anyone working on them

You might want to ask Lovins though I hear she's looking for another good bator...

Thanks Nat, I'll ask her. I don't wanna sell it though...Just want to see if I can help others out who might be having a hard time hatching, but can't afford an expensive incubator

I went "window" shopping one night. Was looking up something to get my son and got side tracked. I put a few things in my cart for later.....well, I started falling asleep in my chair and somewhere along the night I actually checked out! Only reason I knew I did it was the email amazon sends out. Took me all of the next day to sort of remember it. I do lots of things in my sleep now I can add shopping, so utterty sad if you ask me *sigh*. Can't wait for dh to get back, then maybe I can get some REAL sleep

how many eggs does the mini hold? I love my eco 20, I just peek every now and then until I move them to the hatcher

That's very generous of you to offer it out as a loaner

good luck with your eggs paradise

I did a quick scan of my d'Anvers that I set Saturday and 9 out of 12(in that 1 bator) are developing, will check the other bator in a couple days when I go to toss all the non developing orps

Krista,

With the turner in it holds 7 LF. Buuuuuut, with the turner out, and the way you gals creatively stack your eggs, I'm thinking maybe 10 LF and ? smaller? The review I read showed 7 call duck eggs--that's what made me think of Nat. The thing that made me think of having sort of a traveling bator, was that the shipping was only $10. IDK, maybe it's not that practical, but if anyone wanted to give it a try, I'd be happy to ship it somewhere after I'm done playin' with it

PPoultry. I have a Brinsea Mini Advance with a turner, and it is a great little incubator. Set all the parameters and except for filling with a little water occasionally, you can ignore it. Very dependable and hatches well, too.

Good humor, Nat!

Well, since I have to work the next 2 nights, I can't let the chickens out of the pen/coop because I can't catch them all before I go to work. So I decided to take the one roo and separate him cause he is causing alot of disruption, and there were 4 chickens that weren't coming for food and water.

This morning, the rest are all together, and things seem to be working out, the 4 are eating and drinking without being scared off. The 4 are eating and drinking like they were starved. Their crops were never full and they got real thin. So I modified the roo's behavior toward me, but towards the rest of the flock, it's almost impossible.

So would it work out if I separate him to live in my paddock? There are trees, sand, a bit of weeds growing, and 2 stalls. I can also add a few more roos when they are older. They will have 150ft X 129ft to live in, so in a sense, a bachelor pad.
