Shark snipers Wine dots NEW HATCHES and puppies 1/24/2011 update

I had 7 peachicks hatch yesterday (out of 10 shipped eggs). One white, one BS, one almost white white with color on wing tips, and 4 that look sort of IB but very different shades.
They were in a mixed pen of both males and females of : IB, IBBS, Black Shoulder Pied, opal,blue pied, silver pied.

These are the IB looking ones, Need to take some pics of the white and black shouldered but this is what I have so far:

yellow tag chick (white dot on head)

orange tage chick

purple tag chick

blue tag chick

And an opal just hatched, and the java egg is pipped

If the Brinsea is not necessarily a better bator and the rcom costs over $100 less, why do people get the brinseas in the first place?

Because the brinsea is better advertised and I didn't know about the rcoms until later. And also what Phage said.

Some have been helpful, but at least half won't even answer polite inqueries via email. I have noticed this in dog breeders. In highly competitive breeds they want you to pay your dues. In new breeds, breeders are working harder trying to bring interest and educate potential breeders.

My only other comment is if they don't want to make quality stock available for the good of the breed, don't grumble about hatchery stock that people turn to.

OMG, gotta tell you girls what happened to me yesterday!!!! I went up to my friends house that lives on my street to drop something off at her house(live on a dead end dirt road) and she looks out the window and says "who the heck is that coming down my driveway?". A second after that, before I get to turn around, she says "is that your man?". Now of course my heart jumps and I look outside and there coming down her driveway is a guy in uniform. I was in disbelief that it could be him cuz he wasn't supposed to have leave till Sept. I got to the top of the stairs and looked out her huge window, stopping again, not quite sure. Then we start to run down her stairs. I almost went flying cuz she has these huge wood spiral staircase and I had taken my shoes off. I caught him halfway down the driveway and practically knocked the wind out of him. I am still sitting here in disbelief

. It's pretty surreal. I won't be here much for the next couple weeks, got lots to get done

Just wanted to share my happy day
