I don't know because mine with air cell issues never hatched. But I read on here you should put them in a carton, pointed end down, to make sure the unstable cell stays where it's supposed to and at the angle it should. I hope that helps.
The ones I checked are veining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I checked about 12...just randomly picking them up....and candling....

Jen, sorry for not answering earlier...but i've had a couple that have hatched even tho their aircell was awkward....I hatch everytime in a turner...I never take the eggs out...just unplug the turners!
I have two incubators: 1 without a turner and one with. I'm moving the ones out that are ready for lock down and putting them in the no turner incubator. I think I'll put them in an egg carton and cross my fingers.
Also, I'm not putting them all in the carton, just the ones with the weird air cells, I'm worried that laying them on their side will screw them up somehow...
Just finished moving 12 eggs into the hatching incubator. 6 mottled cochin and 6 b/b/s silkie Out of those 3 silkie eggs and 2 mottled cochin eggs have a jagged air cell line so I put them in an egg carton to keep them standing up.
I'll keep you updated on how it goes.
On a side note: I got the cochin eggs from shelleyb1969, she sent 6 and all 6 made to the hatcher! I got 8 silkie eggs from oldtimegator (paid for 6), 2 were earlier quitters and 6 made it to the hatcher! That's pretty darn good! Hope they make it!
I just got done candling my newest eggs that have only been in for 3 days...what a freak! I can't help it, I was moving eggs out and the light was right there...I told myself I would wait till day 7 at least...not a chance. Looking good, very faint veining in most! WOOT! Good luck Nat, hope they are looking good!
