Just be so careful honey... I would check your flock often as I hope you're not going to have to worry about coryza... just be careful

i'm a lil slow what do you guys mean El Dubya?

Double U ---- W ------ Dubya. Southern version of double u. Probably terribly redneck. Haven't you ever heard of George Dubya Bush?

El W. El Dubya.

4/7 silkies w/ very obvious viening, a 5th one cracked with viening and will wax it in the A.M.- cjexotic

5/7 with a 6th one ? bantam barred frizzled cochins - steve wheat

3/8 with a 4th and 5th ? mille fleur duccles - shay20 - these were lost in the mail 10 days! Mary told me they might surprise me!

Too soon for me to tell with my 8 surprise LF light Brahma.

And, of course, 5/6 LF LB cochins due the 27th!

3 out of the LF barred cochins hatched. I had to help out the 3rd, which was malpositioned, and by the time I got to the 4th it had died, and was also malpositioned. The 2 quiet ones were dead for a couple of days and were head down in the small end of the egg. One of my 3 chicks is not a barred, but the other 2 are. They are all fluffy and doing fine, and tomorrow will go into the brooder with
3 LF dark Brahma - ebay
2 OE - ruth
3 oegbs - pamperedpoultry
3 bantam mottled cochins - pamperedpoultry

I also have older chicks outside!

it did suck. Im not too worried about the rest of the flock but am going to research a little bit to just make sure. You how you know your flocks inside and out? Im with those guys so much-I havent seen any signs of anything out of the ordinary-I have al sorts of meds just in case something happens im preparred. SHe had no strange smell just poo smell as she had a chunck stuck to her and it has been muddy so. yah she smelled but not like the death smell people talk about when its something bad. no foaming at nostrils or mouth either. I knew she was behind the pack a little and I think maybe she got stomped on running for the feeder-or my little buff silkie could have jumped on her to mate a little to hard and hurt her? IDK.. Il let you know if I find anything out-

Forgot to mention this, but in my last hatch I had 5 eggs with "goofy" looking air cells, so per suggestions here I put them in an egg carton to hatch when I moved them into the hatching bator. 2 of them hatched the 3 that didn't had obviously quit developing sometime earlier. So, you can hatch with the jagged air cells - don't toss them!
