Nava- when you bid a large amount of money for eggs, imho, you are entitled to an answer when you ask a straightforward question. Some posters go on to just "make waves" and not as an honest buyer, you are an honest buyer that expects to get value for the money they spend. That is a wise consumer.

I am guessing you have spent several hundred dollars on eggs (probably more) this season. You are focused on high end breeds, this means you want quality for the money you spend, and people who are selling high end eggs should be ready and willing to supply answers to your questions. Hope that makes sense.

So, please don't give up on auctions as I love to snipe one away now and then.

Does anyone have any interest in a "pot" for a set of silver laced brahma eggs? I would be willing to donate towards one, hint, hint, Nava.....

Maybe to make eggs more accessible in the fall or next season? Just checking.

Yea Blessed. I sold a cockerel and 3 pullets. I kept 2 cockerels and 2 pullets, just the friendliest ones. It was nice that the guy was so excited about it. I hated to sell them, but I got ahold of some potential splash JG eggs and I've waited all year to find some.

It is a good idea.

I am interested in the breed, but to be honest I am currently working on putting together quality, nonrelated flocks of BLRW, BCM, Barnevelders and coronations. I cannot justify $700 on eggs this season that do not build on my current projects.

But in the fall or next spring, I am very much interested. I am willing to invest this season for a chance at eggs later. I am also slobbering over Tolbunt eggs. I really think I need a leash....maybe freeze my debit card. Hatchers anonymous here I come.

hey nat update lockdown on 7 ancona eggs, and this time i put them in a egg carton becouse i did not like the fact that the last ones were bumping into each other, i hope this works.
